Feature request: Omitting 了 or: Treat "X了X" like "XX"

Often, I copy and paste parts of sentences into the search bar in Pleco. Or I come across these sentences in the reader.
Many times, these contain multi character words that have been seperated by 了. For example: The word 鼓气 appears in a sentence as 奉献心力的学人鼓了气. At present, I’d have to remove 了 from this part (impossible in the reader) to get Pleco to understand that 鼓气 is a word.

Could you make Pleco automatically look for lexical compositions like verb-object constructions etc wrapped around 了? So Pleco treats "X了X" like "XX" (and also like "X了X", just in case 了 is part of the word)?
Shouldn’t be too complicated, I assume.

兒 should also be included. 了 and 過 are the most important ones that get inserted into words on a regular basis. 得 occurs in potential complements (起得來), 不 is used in its negative (起不來). And 的 (as a misspelling of 得). 個 might be found in a structure like 見個面. 着 should also be mentioned.

Makes sense - we might want to make this feature optional at least initially, though, seems like it could have the potential to create a lot of false matches in some cases.
