Returning to a previously opened menu

Is it possible, when having been navigating in the menu which pops out from the LHS of the screen, that when you go out and back into it it returns you to where you had previously been?

For example, if I had been in Flashcards>Organise Cards>2012 HSK>Level 3, then went into dictionary and then went back into Organise Cards I'm back in the Flashcards root menu instead of Level 3. Seems to default to the root menu for everything.

Turn on "sidebar button everywhere" in Settings / Miscellaneous and you can then switch between tabs without returning to the root level.

Sorry I don't think I explained myself clearly or else I'm misunderstanding your reply. I've attached a few screenshots of what I mean. If I'm browsing through the flashcardscards in HSK Level 3 and then go into dictionary, when I go back into HSK Level 3 flashcards I'm back at the root level. Have turned on Sidebar Button Everywhere but it doesn't work. Not sure what you mean by switching between tabs?
