Settings file is overriden?

My iPhone automatically installed version 3.99.1.34.0 today, the default settings seem to be overriding my backed up settings file when I try to restore. Should I manually change all the settings or is there a way I can downgrade to an older version of the app?

You can downgrade to the previous version for a bit through TestFlight, but we're not planning to keep refreshing it going forward so it'll expire in 2 months or so.

We made too many changes to the settings to be able to migrate them forward for beta testers (at least not without putting in more hours of effort on our end than it would take you guys cumulatively to reconstruct your settings) - unfortunately with a beta version we sometimes do have to make tradeoffs like that.
