Recovering settings and flashcards after rebuild

Recently when I started Pleco , it behaved as if the relevant application files were missing and began to download files and rebuild the application. All of my settings, customizations, dictionaries (purchased and user), and flashcards are now missing from the system. Is there anyway to recover these from the files on my phone or SD card, or would those have been overwritten with the rebuild? Unfortunately I do not have recent backups of settings or flashcards. I found two copies of com.pleco.chinesesystem, one on the phone, the other on the SD card; the latter seems to have the pqb files associated with flashcards and user dictionaries that I need. Is that enough? I'm still not sure why the rebuild happened in the first place. Thanks.

That is odd - maybe the SD card was temporarily inaccessible (e.g. it had come loose)? Anyway you should be able to restore from those PQB backups, yes.

Thanks. I think you may be right about the SD card coming loose. Is there any way to salvage the settings, profiles, and add-on downloads from the original com.pleco.chinesesystem folder on the SD card, or is it too late for that since the app has rebuilt itself?

Flashcards can be salvaged, from the /databases/ folder - just restore that as a backup - and you can also move over add-on downloads just by copying over the contents of /modules/; settings I'm afraid are stored elsewhere and so can't be salvaged from that folder.
