They're really completely different - the ABC is a large (200,000-entry), comprehensive Chinese-to-English dictionary, while the C&T is a very short English-to-Chinese dictionary focused specifically on business vocabulary. The ABC will likely make a much bigger difference in your use of PlecoDict than the C&T will, simply because it adds so much more vocabulary, so the main reason to get the C&T in addition to it would be if you need to look up the Chinese versions of business terms like FOB and disintermediation.

Nope, C&T is E-C only for now. We're adding an indexed full-text search feature in Pleco 2.0, though, so once that's out, every dictionary will be a bidirectional dictionary.

And per dictionary.com, disintermediation is "Withdrawal of funds from intermediary financial institutions, such as banks and savings and loan associations, in order to invest in instruments yielding a higher return."

If you are conducting business or taking business courses in Madarin, then you would likely find the C&T very handy (in which case you could be using "those words" from day to day).

I bought both the ABC and C&T. The ABC gets way more action, but the C&T is handy for looking up specialty business and financial terms that are not found in the ABC or in most other pinyin-english dictionaries.
