I was wondering, why there's still no xxhdpi icon? Full HD resolution with 400+ DPI is already last year. The Play store icon you have there is already 300x300, so all you would really have to do is downscale it to 144x144 and include it in the .apk. The low res icon is pretty noticeable on my Nexus 5.
