Concordancer

Hi Mike (and the rest of the team),

I know that you are "at DEFCON 2 on the baby", so this should be taken just as an idea for probably the distant future: a simple concordancer (if there is such a thing as a simple concordancer), maybe as an add-on.

That was actually a reference to how likely the baby was to appear in the near future - she's here now, just turned a month old.

Concordances in Chinese are very difficult because of the lack of any consistent system for word segmentation - the whole idea of what constitutes a Chinese "word" is somewhat debatable, there are several different competing standards and even if you settle on one it's good to get really reliable output.
