Copy selection of dictionary entry

Hi and first of all, a Happy New Year!

My question: Is it possible to copy only a selection of a dictionary entry? Not the headword or the full entry, but highlight and copy a part? I like to copy example sentences to make flashcards out of them. Copying the full entry means that I spend minutes sometimes to delete the parts I don´t need again.
Sorry if this question has already been posted somewhere, but I could not find it in the search function.

Yes - tap-and-hold the |-> button and that will expand the highlight to cover the whole sentence, then tap on the clipboard icon to copy the selection to the clipboard.

Thank you! I got it now- you have to mark the Chinese characters first. If you tap the English definitions, it won´t react. Thank you for the tip.
