Is it possible to enable a button in settings that does the same thing as the "copy to input" button in the WM version?

Yes; at the moment it's actually done through a link appended to the end of each entry, you can enable it in Settings / Dictionary / Entry Commands. (fitting it into the bottom toolbar would require getting rid of another button, so we're waiting on that until we overhaul the toolbar system to be more customizable)
