Difference between flashcard display "def.+examp." and "def.+examp.+links"

Hello,
I'd like to ask what is the difference between flashcard display "def.+examp." and "def.+examp.+links"?

Because as I can see on my flashcards, there is no difference and exactly the same examples are displayed.

Hi,

in some dictionaries, there sometimes are references to other dictionary entries, for example here after the triangle sign, in the dictionary entry for 好:



So most of the time, you won't see any difference, as you say.
