Export flashcards from Android to iOS

Is it possible to perform a database backup on Android and restore it on say an iPhone? Or at least export/import cards?
I couldn't find anything on cross-OS anywhere :/
 
Yes, the two formats are identical so you can indeed backup your database on one device and restore on the other.
 
Okay. When I tried sending a backup file to a friend with an iPhone we didn't succeed importing it into Pleco, it just opened as a text file (even when sending a zip). I guess it's ios and not pleco being the issue then... It's so easy with android ^^"
 
That's odd - it was definitely a backup file? What happened when you unzipped it in Pleco and tried to open it with "Restore Database"?
