Good point on #1, letting you do a priority list of multiple dictionaries would certainly save some time there.
With Adso, the problem there might be that all of those cards store their definitions in the flashcard database instead of in the dictionary; we have to do that with Adso because there's no way for us to reliably track / carry forward entry IDs between database revisions.
