Flashcards for the vocabulary from Modern Chinese (時代華語), a recent (2019-2021) Mandarin textbook series by Tamkang University Chinese Language Center et al from Taiwan. It's a popular textbook in many language schools in Taiwan and one of TOCFL's recommended textbooks.

I've parsed them out from .pptx slides from the book's website: https://sites.google.com/clc.tku.edu.tw/modernchinese-official/, so some differences/errors vs textbook possible. They published the slides only for the first 4 books out 7, so that's also only what I have here, 4061 entries / 3753 unique terms.

There are example sentences for most terms! - great for learners

Thanks for this! It is downloading as an HTML file instead of a txt and Pleco is not recognizing it as an acceptable file to import from because of this.
Is there a simple workaround if I am downloading on my phone and importing into Pleco?

Hi @Jacobpresident,

that's a case where iOS would need a power user mode. You can share the file to an app like GoodReader (or most other apps that have a file manager), change its suffix there, then share it to Pleco:

The Files app will let you do this, too, but apparently only on iPadOS. To avoid this problem altogether, it should also be possible to configure XenForo to give .txt files a text/plain rather than text/html media type (formerly known as MIME type) for https requests.

You can also change the extension in Pleco if you turn on the option in settings / file manager to "show file extensions."
