Full Text search questions

How is full text search supposed to work? Right now I don't know how to tell if there are bugs or not.

For example, put in the word "intelligent" (no quotes).

Without full text search (the # at the front of the word), the dictionary icon is normal, and there are a lot of entries to choose from.

Turn it on, and even the entry "intelligent" from the dictionary disappears. There are only 3 entries left, in NWP, for example.

I'd appreciate some stuff on how it is supposed to work. I'll transfer the explainantion and any examples to the wiki. Of course, anyone else is free to put things directly there too!

Full-text search searches only the body of dictionary entries, and not headwords; the 3 entries in NWP are the three entries that contain "intelligent" in their definitions (or example sentences). The language switch button now corresponds to the language of the search query, rather than the language of the dictionary you're in, so to switch to other dictionaries (E-C and C-E both) just tap on the dictionary switch button (or tap-hold to bring up the dictionary selection menu). E-C full-text searches will generally be more useful in C-E dictionaries, and C-E searches in E-C ones; searching for "intelligent" full-text in ABC for example gives you all sorts of useful words that wouldn't necessarily come up in an E-C search for "intelligent." Multiple word searches are supported in E-C (it'll check the resulting entries for an exact string match), and C-E supports any string of two or more characters.
