How do you access extra search bar buttons?

Before my pleco had extra search bar functions, where I could directly add flashcards, play tts, and a couple other things directly from the search bar without having to click on any entry. It ended up disappearing and I for the life of me can't find where to access those buttons! It was very helpful to me as a lot of things I found didn't have dictionary entries and it was convenient to be able to add flashcards from the main search screen that way. How can I bring it back up?

Those should come up whenever you enter a word that’s not in our dictionary. (Most of those functions relate to what to do with an unknown word - for known words you can get at the same functionality through the definition screen)

Here is an example. Before if I wanted to add 老乾媽 into my flash cards or hear the text to speech, there would be a ui for it where I circled. Now there is nothing there and no way to add 老乾媽 as a flash card entry

Hmm... is "don't show unknown toolbar" turned on in Settings / Search Interface?
