How to edit exported .txt Dicts?

Hello,

is it possible to edit the exported personnel dictionary .txt file with my PC?
I am able to open it with UltraEdit, but there are no definition fields that I would expect like <definition><Simp><Trad> and so on. Only Spaces/Tabs that seems to separate the fields, but when I try to edit these fields and import them there are only errors. What is the best program to edit these .txt files? I really would like to add new fields with my pc instead with my WinMo device.

The import / export system really isn't designed for editing entries and putting them back into Pleco; it's more for transferring data to / from another program or database format. There's no good system yet for synchronizing updates, or applying updated definitions to existing dictionary entries. So I'm afraid at the moment if you want to edit those entries the best bet is to do it on your handheld - there are a couple of programs out there that will let you "remote control" your handheld from your PC, though, if it helps to at least have access to a larger screen and keyboard.
