How to Upgrade from version 1

Hi, I have just recently (last week) bought and install PlecoDict Complete package and having a blast with it (my only regret was that I discover this software a little late. If I found out about it sooner, then I would have put it into more use during my last trip to China a month earlier) . Do I have to pay to upgrade to version 2? Do I have to delete the old version before installing the new one or simply install (upgrade on top of it)? What about the keyfile (unlocking file), how do I get the new unlock?

Sorry about the silly questions, I am not a technically inclined person, thus all the discussions on the other threads seems to loose me.

The upgrade policy is posted on here, http://www.pleco.com/pdpreview.html. Looks like if you just bought 1.0 you'll get the complete upgrade for free. You should be able to get the 2.0 license key from http://www.pleco.com/beta/pd2orders.html

Pleco 2 is a completely separate install, 1.0 and 2.0 will happily coincide on the same machine, though once you've migrated there isn't much reason to keep 1.0 around. The only bit that will be a real migration is moving your flashcard and user dictionary over from 1.0. There is a utility to do that on this forum, I believe it's on the same page as the 2.0.0 release, but I'm not particularly familiar with that specific utility as I never needed it.
