HSK flashcard imported as variant

I recently imported the new HSK cards and some of them got imported as a variant character rather than the more common character, e.g. 盃 instead of 杯. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks.
 
That's odd... are you using Pleco in traditional character mode? Are these incorrect variants appearing only in traditional?

If you go into the card's screen in Organize and tap Change Dictionary / Entry, are you able to pick a correct variant there?
