Importing flashcards w/ custom definitions

Hello everyone,

I have the following issue: I have a set of flashcards, for which I have edited a custom-made definition on device A. I have exported the flashcards in both XML and TXT format.
When I import the flashcards with device B('Definition souce'='File only'), I am only getting dictionary definitions, not the customized definitions I want.

How can I make it work?

Do other flashcards already exist for these word? If so then you'll want to set "Duplicate handling" to "Update + merge" - that will update the text of the existing cards along with adding them to the new category.

Problem solved. Thanks for your answer.

I've looked at different cards info (section 'Cats'), and the cards are not part of any other category other than the one I've imported.
For info, "Duplicate handling" was set to "Merge cats".

I set "Duplicate handling" to "Update + merge" as you advised, and this solved the problem.
