Instant Access feature and Opera

Thanks for all the good work first of all!

I'm using a HTC Touch Diamond 2 with Opera 9.5 pre-installed and I frequently look up Chinese words from the browser. As of now, I copy the characters to the clipboard first and launch Pleco via a hardware button. Pleco then starts with the full interface (not in the small instant access mode).

However, it would be much more convenient if i could simply highlight the character in Opera, press the hardware button and thereby start PlecoLaunch's convenient popup. Any tips on how to make this work?

Newer versions of Opera Mobile unfortunately don't seem to offer any sort of a hook we can use to extract the currently selected text - we've tried a whole bunch of different command codes to get it working, but none of them seem to work. So it's IE or nothing for now I'm afraid.
