Invisible Pinyin in the Flashcard Sessions

I'm entering the individual characters and vocabulary words from my study book onto the flashcard feature (which I think is a brilliant idea).

I'm on a Zire71 OS5.2.1 (bought in China)
CJKOS is off.
CEDICT and UniChin are installed but not selected

When I first encountered this problem, only one character was missing the pinyin and definition, on my first non default list.
Now, every entry in my newer lists have no pinyin or definition.

I use the add option in the flashcard menu.
I use recognition and radical lookup for my entries.

Any help would be ... helpful

cheers

Are you sure that you've got the Pinyin box checked under "Show" on the left hand side of the New Flashcard Session screen? And are you using Oxford 2.0.4 or 2.1 beta? I don't believe there are any bugs in the former that could cause this but I'm not so sure about the latter.

I do have all the "show" checked.
It's a new Zire71, I hope it's the palm.
Could it be lack of memory?
I have 1.7 megs left of useable memory. Or so it sez.

Right now I have Zlaunch enabled.

I think that's the only running app. CJKOS is disabled.

on my first "list" only "bu" doesn't have pinyin or a definition.

I hope this helps.

Could you please HotSync your Palm and then e-mail me your "Oxford Flashcard Database" file? It'll be in your Palm user backup folder, on Windows c:\program files\palm\(your username)\Backup. This will make it a lot easier to diagnose your problem.
