looking up two-character words through recognizer

pardon if this has already been addressed, but i didn't find it in a search-

Is there a way to look up bigrams (i.e., 2-character words) through the character recognizer in dictionary lookup?

Or does it only support 1-character recognition?

It supports multi-character recognition, actually with a very slick interface (if I do say so myself) - once you've finished writing one character, you simply tap in the recognition area with two fingers to clear it and you can then proceed to draw your second character.
