OCR for low-end Android phones

How come that there's no actual response form low-end Android phone users regarding OCR function?
I want to buy Samsung Galagy Gio/Ace and it is crucial for me to know how the OCR works on those.
There was a similar topic already, but the further it went, the more it deviated from the original direction.
So, what is the cheapest Android phone that can handle OCR?

The cheapest OCR-friendly Android phone that we have on our test bench is the LG Optimus One, but the Ace would probably be OK too - we don't actually have one here, but it's currently the third most popular Android phone among our customers and it seems likely that if it had any issues with OCR they'd have been reported by now.
