After I installed Pleco on my HP IPAQ 6965 with WM5, the Internet Explorer is not able to display chinese fonts. All I see are squares and weird symbols. I noticed that the Internet Explorer does not have Chinese Simplified GB2312 encoding, although it has UTF-8, which doesn't help at all. However, chinese fonts do display on SMS text and Word, Excel Mobile. Could it be that Pleco somehow hijacked a system control that allows viewing chinese fonts on the internet. I have tried CE-Star but it made matters worse because after installing, the internet explorer doesn't display any fonts at all, western or chinese. All I get is a blank screen.
Can somebody help me troubleshoot my PDA so that I can have Pleco as well as an internet explorer that still displays chinese fonts. Thank you.
