Apparently after the last update today the option to put the screen reader button on the notification bar instead of the floating button isn't appearing anymore. Using Android 13.0 OnePlus OxygenOS.

That was intentional, actually - it's not really a usable option on Android 13 anyway, since it's no longer possible for us to close the notification shade via an API and hence you end up with that overlaying whatever it is you're trying to read, so as with the dear departed Clipboard Monitor, we removed the option rather than leave it in and have it not work due to Google breaking it.
(if there's some way to get around it we'd be glad to consider bringing it back, but at least in our testing the notification was unusable)

Oh, I see! Thanks for the quick reply, that's sad but the transparent floating button is okay. Hope there will be a way for that function to come back in the future.
