Simple Flashcard Question regarding example sentences and TTS

Really like the small "speaker" button in dictionary entries which allows you to play the TTS audio for example sentences with one click.

Any way to enable these on flashcards? Feel like the auditory examples really help to reinforce the meaning of the vocab I'm learning by placing them in context, but constantly highlighting the example sentences and then playing the TTS is kind of tedious.

Best,
Uni

P.S. Hats off to Mike and Co for producing this wonderful app!

Thanks!

Not yet, it's on our to-do list but example sentence support in flashcards is kind of a hack right now. However if you turn on the 'Show dict switch option' option in "Commands," once an entry is revealed you'll have a button at the bottom right corner of the screen to pull up its definition screen, from which you can play as many examples as you like.

Thanks for the quick reply. For some reason the pull to dict entry button is on the bottom left for me, not a big deal, but makes the experience a little cumbersome since I usually hold my phone in the right hand. Nonetheless, I'm really glad to hear better example sentence integration is on the to do list. Obviously Pleco's already excellent as is, but I think better integration of example sentences (maybe with an option for the user to select one to three sentences for tts autoplay on card reveal *crosses fingers*) would really throw things up to the next level from my perspective.

Best,
Uni

Yes, sorry, that's where it's supposed to be - it'll likely move to a different location soon, though, we wedged it in there because we weren't quite ready to redo the flashcard testing UI yet and needed to squeeze it somewhere.

Customizable autoplay is an interesting idea - could combine with other audio too, readings of the headword itself, a short English explanation, etc.
