Some PinYin searches failing

When I do a Pinyin search on "nu3", I get "crossbow" plus another character with no translation. If I try nu(umlaut)3, I get nue4 and other nue results. However, if I do a character search using the "female" character I get the dictionary entry I was expecting, namely nu(umlaut)3, woman or female.

I've noticed this on some other characters as well. What am I doing wrong?

The thing that 99% of people do wrong, I suspect: You weren't using V instead of u+umlaut. So doing a search for nv3 will get you the female character :). It's a common issue people face when first doing pinyin stuff.

Thanks, that was it. Is there a mention of this in the documentation somewhere? Are there other special cases we should know about?

Fuck it. I was going to reply properly to this, but ChatterEmail has eaten my reply not once, but twice. Damn it.

Basically, no other special cases. Might be in the docs.
