Spaced Repetition Test Profile vs Repetition-Spaced Card Selection?

Hello,

I'm a little confused with these two settings:

Currently, I'm doing Spaced Repetition Tests, with Card selection set to 'Random'.
What would be the difference between 'Random' and 'Repetition-Spaced' Card selection?

Would Repetition-Spaced give me something more similar to an Anki algorithm, or is the Spaced Repetition Profile (with 'random') enough?

The 'profile' is just a convenient way of selecting a different set of settings; it doesn't do anything besides what's configured in your other flashcard test settings. So "spaced repetition" with random card selection behaves exactly like "simple" does with random card selection; to get SRS you would need to change the card selection option to repetition-spaced.
