Hello. I feel the speed of speech when using dictionary is very slow and the speed adjustment scale does not make any change. Is there any special settings to get faster speech? I use Pleco 3.2.91 on Huawei P40. Thanks!
Go into Google Play / installed apps and delete Google Speech Services, then reboot your phone. (this won't actually delete it, it'll just revert it to an older version that should hopefully be less buggy)
By "reboot" you mean switch off - switch on the phone ? No effect. I was wondering this was not specific to Huawei since I also have and iPhone where the speed feature works perfectly well.
On a Huawei phone, Google Speech Services might not work at all, actually. Are there any other text to speech engines you can download? (select them as your "System TTS Engine" in the Pleco Settings screen under Audio)
