What are the colored characters in the screenshot?

On the Pleco preview page http://www.pleco.com/pdpreview.html the screen shot at the very bottom show a dictionary query and some of the entries are colored red, green and blue. What do these colors mean?

They indicate the tones of the character. Red for First, Green for second, Blue for third, and Grey for fourth. Not sure what neutral is.

If you want to use this feature go to:

Dict>Preferences>Display

Then set things up under Tone Color.
