Iphone5: full-screen handwriting is crashing

There seems to be a problem with the handwriting module under iphone5: as soon as I try to handwrite in full-screen mode, the pleco application crashes (I'm sent back to the iphone home screen); rebooting the iphone didn't help.
Am I the only person having this issue under iphone5 ?

Already submitted a fix, see this post - we also mention the issue in our app's description on iTunes and in the Add-on catalog listing for handwriting.
