Bug reporting: iOS Copy-paste not working across different devices

I am using a software to study on my iPhone and I am using my other iPhone to keep Pleco on and copy paste it across those two devices.

The function is working on other software but not on Pleco.

When tried on Pleco, it shows Pleco attempting to paste from the other iOS device but nothing comes out as a result.
 
Copy-pasting plain text from any app or notes from one iOS device and pasting it into Pleco on another iOS

My current workaround is that I paste in another app or in the search bar and then copy it again within the same iOS device (both iPhones in my case)

In the system Settings app, under Pleco, is 'paste from other apps' set to 'allow'?
 
furthermore, inter-iOS copying pasting is working if you’re copying FROM Pleco to another device.
The bug is in the other way around. When you paste INTO the app if you copy from another device. (As mentioned above)
 
And you're pasting this into the search box? So you tap on the search box and then tap 'paste' on the menu that comes up?
