4.0 Beta for Android

Hello~

Apologies for the question, yet I wonder if the 4.0 beta for Android might happen this year. I switched to android and pleco beta is the last thing I still use my iphone for. I doubt flashcards and study profiles are backwards compatible. Just trying to find a middle ground to stop having to carry my old iPhone everywhere and not losing my study progress.

Any input or advice more than welcome, thank you!

We honestly don't know yet - in general 4.0 is designed to be very easy to port and pretty much all of the interesting logic lives in cross-platform code, so we think we could have a functional 4.0 beta on Android pretty quickly once we decide to pull the trigger on it, but the big questions are a) when we do that and b) if our confidence turns out to be justified :)
