Availability of the 4.0 beta for android users

I just wanted to ask if there is any news regarding the availability of the 4.0 beta for android users ?

Or if it is planned in the next months or weeks ?

I will probably try to get the cheapest iphone I can find since I really wanted to use the 4.0 beta, especially for the flashcards improvements.

But I don't know if there is a minimum ios version requirement for 4.0 ?
Since I will get an old iphone, It probably won't be on the latest version.

Hi kaine42,

if I may chime in, I think that's a great idea. I also use some Android phones alongside an iPhone.

I would get an iPhone 12 or similar, just not an iPhone SE because those have a much smaller screen which may not work well with the 4.0 beta. The iPhone 11 and 12 can still run the new iOS 26 which will come out in a few months. You could even get an iPhone XR which runs the current system (which should be enough for Pleco 4.0 for quite a while) but not iOS 26.

I don't know if Amazon are the best source for refurbished/renewed iPhones; maybe you know better ones in your vicinity.
