I’d really appreciate some guidance.
I have saved vocab cards to a category e.g. headwords CATEGORY.
Logistically do I have a second category for the corresponding sentences, e.g. Sentence mining CATEGORY?
I imported my sentences as the “Chinese Example” card type. How do I get these example sentences to appear under the personal dictionary I created in the main Search screen?
I need to then manually link the vocab cards to the corresponding sentence right? Will that then allow me to create cloze test types( as currently it's invalid)?
There seems so many options I'm excited about but I feel like I don't even know how to get started in planning how to organise my cards and sentences... Everyone else seems to have figured this out so apologies, I've only ever done Anki by following youtube tutorials and, tried but not had any luck figuring it out from the forum search. Thanks!!!!
- I imported sentence cards in Traditional Chinese. Is there a way to bulk “Apply Derived Text…” to populate the Simplified field/container?
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
- English
- Mandarin (for pinyin?)
- Notes
- Dictionary Entry
- My goal:
- Save key vocabulary words in a category
- Attach self-mined example sentences to each word so they appear under “My Dictionary” under that word in the search
- Test individual words (this part works fine)
- Test Cloze-style example sentence where I type the Hanzi keyheadword (Audio for both the full sentence and the keyword -Use only the QiangTTS Male voice)
