changing screen orientation on WM5

I've happily been using an HTC TyTn smartphone for a few months, it's a model with sliding keyboard. Screen orientation is portrait by default, but changes to landscape when the keyboard slides out.
Now, at least one application allows screen orientation to change regardless of keyboard position, and that's the Opera browser (a much recommended app incidentally).
Question is, could Pleco offer this as a preference setting, a prefered screen orientation? I would imagine it's just a matter of calling a system fuction but I'm probably being naive... Alternatively, would anyone know of a little tool that would allow this across all applications?
thx

Hi Sandra, yes I do and for 2 main reasons : I want a quickly accessible toolbar icon, but more importantly, I want a resilient setting. If I change orientation in the Settings to Landscape, Plecodict (or other apps) will obviously keep it when I slide the keyboard out, but will reset it to portrait when I push the keyboard back in. So this is a very transient effect.
Ideally, I'd also want to configure this on an app basis, much as Rotation does on the Palm.

I failed to find anything with the features of Rotation. However, I did contact a developer I know through the Web and asked him if it would be possible for him to make one. We'll see what he replies.

Getting back to goulniky's original question: yes, this does sound like something we could do, and given the rather-sizable portion of the PPC market that's now occupied by devices like the TyTN it makes a certain amount of sense. It may be trickier than I think, though, so I'm not sure if this is something we could seriously consider for 2.0.
