I ran into this issue a couple of times. My exact example currently is that I saw the character 蓬 in a video subtitle, but it passed quickly so I searched the character I knew was similar in 缝纫. I went to the components of 缝 to find 逢.
Then was looking at the compounds section to find what 蓬 means. The definition shown on these compounds is the UNI dictionary definition which seems to be inaccurate compared to PLC and CC. It showed that 蓬 meant "type of raspberry; fairyland' and this definition made no sense for the video I was watching (a hair tutorial) so I had to go back in the video and had to draw and search 蓬 directly in order to get the correct definition of "fluffy; disheveled".
And the weird thing is that neither CC or PLC had any definition even relatively close to the UNI definition. PLC defs: fleabane, fluffly;dishevelled, MW [for twiggy, leafy plants]. CC defs: fleabane, disheveled, classifier for luxuriant plants.
I attempted to turn off every section of the UNI dictionary in settings, but it is still the definition shown in the Compounds section even when I have the other 2 dictionaries turned on for the Compounds section. I'm not sure why this UNI dictionary is so different but how can I remove it? It makes it hard to naturally connect characters together when an obscure definition is given.
