I've been using the document reader quite a bit recently, it really works sgreat on WM.
But I found a few things that could be improved in the file selection screen to make it a lot easier to use :
1) remember last folder selection rather than always select ALL on entry
2) make the file name field wider, or its width modifiable (that's really a problem, alternatively, allow full name preview)
3) allow card subfolder selection (now it only sees root folders)

These problems all have to do with Windows Mobile's built-in file open dialog, actually - it's kind of limited in what it can do. So the fix for them would be for us to roll our our own custom-designed interface for navigating to / opening files - certainly a possibility in a future release, but not something as easy as moving around a few controls or adding an extra bit of saved preference data.

as a workaround, could Pleco be set as the default application for certain document types (e.g. .utf or .utf.txt)? Or could Pleco be called with a file as parameter from a helper application that would do the file selection?

The default application idea might work - we'll have to look into that.
