entry replacing current word?

I am not sure how well I will be able to explain myself here. In the Oxford dictionary program there was a feature you could select in preferences which meant that if there was already a character in the input line and you entered a new one (from the handwriting recogniser for example) you could choose to have the existing one replaced by the new one instead of the new one being tagged on to the end of the old one. That feature does not seem to be available in PlecoDict. I find it most annoying to have to first delete what is already there. Could you reinstate that feature please Mike?

Oh yes, this is already on our list of features to add back in - there are some incomplete parts of our character search system which need to be working correctly before we can, but it's definitely one of the things we're working on for 1.0.
