Export all data to manually “sync” devices

I have read through as many posts as possible, and it appears that syncing is being actively developed, but still not released as yet. I could be wrong in this….

I would like to manually “sync” devices, or basically transfer all settings, data, flashcards etc between devices.

- What would be the easiest way to achieve this?
- Is there a one button “export” feature where all this data could be exported and shared via airdrop etc to my other devices?

Hi Shaokao,

you can back up your flashcards database as well as all of your settings, then transfer them to your other device and restore/load them there. If the destination device's flashcard database has data in it you'd like to keep, you will have to export your cards from there first and import them back after the restore.

Hope this helps,

Shun

Yes, this is unfortunately the best option at the moment, though for our next update we're consolidating flashcards and settings and history to the same database to simplify things a bit.

Flashcards: Import/Export / Backup Database (and Restore Database)
Settings and History: bottom of the Settings screen
User dictionaries: Settings / Manage Dictionaries / tap on the dictionary / Backup (and Restore) Database

Once they're backed up, you can go into File Manager and tap on the (i) button next to each file, then tap "Share / Open In" to share it with your other device.
