font problems after installing pocket pc plecodict 1.0.3

I broke my old Treo 650, and replaced it with a Treo 750 with is a pocket pc device. After installing PlecoDict, I noticed that I'm having font problems (with roman characters, not Chinese). I was looking up a news story on a local website, and got "boxes" instead of characters. I *was* able to copy the boxes and paste them into a note, using the note app, and there the text showed up fine. There are a few other places where I see boxes now instead of regular text. I'm not sure that PlecoDict caused the problem, but has anyone else seen this and know a cure??

This is actually caused by a bug in the Pocket PC font system; basically, it tries to load one of our custom Pinyin-tone font files when it should be loading the built-in English font. Unfortunately, there won't be a fix until 2.0 comes out with its brand new, independent-of-Microsoft's-heinously-buggy-code font implementation, but a workaround you can use in the meantime is to exit PlecoDict completely by using the "Quit" command in the "Dict" menu whenever you're done with it; that will unload the fonts that are causing problems and should restore normal text display.

Thanks Mike! Yes, your solution works! ( :D I look forward to the 2.0 fix, and understand that it's really an MS OS prob!)
