Frozen Grey Screen

My app has frozen with a grey screen. Nothing seems to get it going. Any advice?

Reboot your iPhone and that should clear it up. (which model of device is this, and what version of iOS is it running?)

It's an iPod Touch, model MC008LL, running 4.3.4. Restarting the device has no effect on the Pleco dictionary.
