We're still working on packaging up Beta 8 / Release Candidate 1, but the instruction manual is in good enough shape now that I thought I might as well post it:

This still needs another proofread, but it now covers every dialog / feature / etc in 2.0, includes a couple of tutorials, a short introduction to the changes in the 2.0 flashcard system, and, unlike any previous Pleco instruction manual, the front matter (usage guide / preface / etc) from each of the seven paid dictionaries available with 2.0. The ABC guide is particularly illuminating, as there's a lot of interesting information in those dictionary entries that you might have missed. This also finally allows us to include a full set of credits for each dictionary, though the electronic data files for the Guifan dictionary don't seem to include all of the 80-odd names for that so we're probably going to have to key them in manually.
Plus it's in HTML, which makes it much more handheld-friendly than the old PDF manual from 1.0; copies of the manual files will be included in the 2.0 download archive so that you can easily copy them over to your phone/PDA and open them from Blazer/IE. The Chinese characters in the front matter (and there are a lot of them, as the 21st/Guifan materials are entirely in Chinese) are encoded in UTF-8, so they may not open too nicely on Palm, but you can easily copy them into a text file and open them from the Pleco document reader.
