How are flags really supposed to work in Flashcards

Hi Mike,

I've been playing around with setting flags and using them to control my progress to the next levels.

I have two flags define. One for having the Pinyin memorized. I only want to move to level 3 if that flag is set (I assume that a flag is set when there is a + in front of it). I specified this in the 'Ranks' tab.

I also would like a card to go to level 4 if the other flag is set. But, it seems like from the 'Rank' tab that the required flags are the same for each rank selected.

Could you have separate flag requirements to move to each level?

Are you using Palm or Pocket PC? On Pocket PC you can only do this with a single rank/flag set, but on Palm you should be able to set the flags for each of those separately - I just double-checked this on a Palm here and it seems to work fine. You can't spell out separate requirements for every level, but you can specify two specific levels which will each have their own flag requirements.

I am using a PocketPC. So, it looks like it is not possible to have different flags for different levels.

I'm afraid not. Sorry I even asked about Pocket PC, this is kind of a crazy time of year and I didn't notice you were the one who'd posted this.
