How to draw the letter i in HWR

In full screen HWR, the lower right-hand corner can be used to enter letters. I haven't found a reliable way to draw the letter i. What is the supposed way to do it?

If you've set it up to recognize after a single stroke then it's a bit tricky - I usually try drawing a joined uppercase I, almost as if writing the Chinese character 工.

Thanks, that works.

Through experiment in IO6, I found I could get an 'i' by drawing a horizontal line starting from the lower right corner edge of the screen left past the middle of the screen.
