How to get HSK flashcards to work?

I recently bought a Palm TX, mainly in order to use the flashcards to prepare for the HSK, but they haven't imported properly. There should be around 1000 cards in level 1, 2000 in level 2, 2000 in level 3 and 3500 in level 4 (approx). But it has imported: 506 cards in level 1, 1044 in level 2, 1171 in level 3, and 1847 in level 4. It looks like I can only build an hsk flaschard set by inserting the 8000+ words myself manually???

Here is what has imported in level 1:

1. 啊
2. 啊
3. 哀 (as far as I know this is not a level 1 word)
4. 暗井(not a word that crops up anywhere in the HSK list)
5. 吧
6. 吧
7. 吧
8. 爸爸
9. 吧
10. 掰
11. 掰
12. 掰
13. 媕 (not in the first 10,000 most common characters????)
14. 媕
15. 媕
16. 媕
17. 包
18. 包
19. 包

and so on.

These have no connection with the HSK list. Does someone know how to do it right? Why am I getting entries that only occur once ini teh HSK list 3 or 4 times? Is it because the software is matching the entries with NWP and ABC entries? Whatever is happening, the flashcard feature is currently unusable for me.

I received a very speedy reply from Mike Love. I just want anyone reading this who might have done the same as me to know how to resolve it: I failed to install the gb text converter. Once that was there, the flashcards came in fine.
