Indonesian dictionary

Hello,

Is there any existing or any plan to offer an indonesian dictionary. Judging by the fact that the country has more than 280 million inhabitants and a growing number of Chinese language learners, it would be very useful.

Or is there any tutorial on how to generate one's own user dictionary (from an Excel file for instance) instead of adding entries one by one?

We would absolutely love to license an Indonesian dictionary - we do indeed have a ton of users in Indonesia - but we haven't been able to find one to license yet; seems to be a notable hole in the Chinese reference publishing industry.

You can create a user dictionary in a tab-delimited plaintext file:

characters<tab>pinyin<tab>definition

one item per line, then import it into a newly created user dictionary in Settings / Manage Dictionaries.
