Installed dictionaries do not show up in definitions

I have a dictionary (Paul Kroll's SCM) installed. Shows up in Manage Dictionaries OK, but does not appear as an option on DICT tab of definitions. TIA from a newbie..

Any chance you’re doing this with a multi-character word? Or a character that’s not in the dictionary?

Doing this with ming2 ("bright") -- just the one character. FYI, I run Pleco on an iPad (where I'm having the problem) and also on an Android phone--both with the same registration ID. On the phone, restarting fixed the problem, but not so on the iPad.

Hmm... could you email (mikelove at pleco) or DM me a backup of your settings? You can create that with the 'backup settings and/or history' command at the bottom of the Settings screen.
