Pleco 2.0 final Hardware requirements

While I wait for Pleco to be released for my iPod touch, do you think it would be worth trying to 2.0 on my Tungsten T, or will it just be too painfully slow?

I'm fine not having the Audio files if that's all that's buggy. Anyone test out the performance ?
 
We don't keep a Tungsten T around here for testing anymore, but in theory the performance shouldn't be too much worse than another early-generation Palm OS 5 device like the Tungsten E - it's just that the OS on those is very buggy and the stability level (particularly with audio) may be less-than-acceptable.
 
I run Pleco 2.0 on a Tungsten E and the performance is fine, and it never feels slow. The Tungsten T has a faster processor (144 MHz) than the Tungsten E (126 MHz), but it has an older OS (5.0) than the E (5.2.1). I'm not sure if the older OS will cause issues for Pleco like Mike mentioned.
