Proper method for updating a user dictionary?

Hi,

What is the proper method for installing an update to a user dictionary? For example, I have the Taiwan MoE dictionary installed. If one day a new version is released, how should I go about updating it? I especially want to avoid break links with my existing flashcards.

I'm afraid that's not something our user dictionary system supports at the moment, at least not if a dictionary is being created anew / reimported rather than just having its entries edited.

Your best bet would probably be to create a new category, search for (magnifying glass in Organize) / add all of your MoE-based cards to that category, delete the old MoE, install the new one, then remap (Edit / Batch) all of the cards in that category to the new dictionary.
